Want to start making beer now, not next week!

Darren and I got a beer making kit (inventory of the kit is listed at the end) from my parents for Christmas!  We are going to make an absurd amount of beer--we want to try making all different sorts of beer.  Our first beer is going to be the Morning Glory Lab's Sierra Foothill Pale Ale, which is supposed to be an easy beer to learn beer making on.

We got a book from Border's (Jim Parker's Basic Homebrewing) today to help in learning all about beer making.  We were planning on starting the process tomorrow, but unfortunately the kit that Morning Glory Fermentation Supply supplied to my parents is missing the bucket lid for the 6 gallon fermentation bucket.  We could go get a new bucket lid tomorrow and put a hole in it for the bung, but first we're going to call Morning Glory labs to see if they'll send it to us.  If so, we'll probably be able to start next weekend :(  (in reality, its hard to be sad when I know that we have everything we need to brew our own beer).
